Mostly photographic material is submitted - this goes into the corresponding folders.

Sometimes we host contests so it would be great if some of you can contribute prizes. I will announce every contest and will also blog about the running contests.

You are only allowed to submit ONE piece of art.

You will have enough time to submit your art - I'd say from today to two weeks from now, depending on how many people take part. :hug:
Voting will then be announced and also HOW to be voted.

In addition to the contest I'd like you to comment this journal on your favorite pictures in our group. They will get a feature in the next journal as well as the honor to be in our feature folder and I can see what kind of pictures you really like. :D

I had an image declined! Really? With the garbage I see you groups
accepting. My work is well above any of the other trash you accept, but
if that's the way you want it... (Declined "Coal Vents.")

Yes, really. I guess you should ask youself if you submitted your picture to the right folder before you judge our decision and rant about us!

Sometimes it's hard to decide which folder is the right one,
but thank you for explaining why and not just banning me. I appreciate
that and from now on will try to look things over better before
submitting. I really do appreciate your taking the time to explain.

the only reason I will decline a picture is if it is in the wrong folder or if it doesn't fit in our subject (nature) but I usually comment on the reason. Which picture was declined and in which folder did you submit?
Plus I never accept or decline according to which picture is "better" since this is only based on personal opinions

Its all good it was settled with another voting member in your group
I am thinking it was declined because I put it in Flowers and plants and I saw afterwards there was a flowers and plants II, so I think maybe if this first folder is suppose to be closed that the comtribution button should be disabled perhaps??? :)
